Note: Description: This set will cover a variety of early switchers and Fairbanks-Morse locomotives for the Denver and Rio Grande Western (D&RGW) Railroad. This includes EMD NW2 number 7000 (changed in September 1941 to number 100), GE 44-ton numbers 38-43, Baldwin VO-660 numbers 66-74, Alco S2 numbers 101-119, and Fairbanks-Morse H10-44 numbers 120-123, and H15-44 numbers 150-152. The first diesel switchers delivered in 1941 and during World War II were painted black with lettering by a lacquer paint called Dulux Gold, a shade intended to simulate gold leaf. These units were all painted black with yellow lettering, numbering, and safety stripes. On both the front of the hood and the rear of the cab were safety stripes.
